Christopher A. Sambolín Pérez discovered the art of bonsai at age 13, when his aunt introduced him to Futago Bonsai in the summer of 2010. Since then, his passion for nature and miniature trees has only grown. For the past 15 years, Christopher has trained through workshops and seminars with renowned bonsai artists such as Pedro J. Morales (Puerto Rico), William Acosta (Puerto Rico), and Mauro Stemberger (Italy), among others.

In 2018, he furthered his artistic training by studying at the Italian Bonsai Dream School in Feltre, Italy, and later in Chicago, Illinois, USA. He has also participated in masterclass competitions in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, and in the California Bonsai Society's Visiting Artist Program in Los Angeles, USA, where he has been invited to give demonstrations, seminars, and workshops.

In 2018, he expanded his artistic training by studying at the Italian Bonsai Dream School in Feltre, Italy, and later in Chicago, Illinois, USA. Alongside his evolution as a bonsai artist, Christopher has grown as a scientist, integrating bonsai with plant physiology, biotechnology, and molecular studies. His work connects art with science, using bonsai as a living model to explore plant biology in innovative ways.

“Loving, caring for, and learning from nature is our greatest teacher and our only home.”
