The Renaissance of Bonsai Art

The highly anticipated WORBAC International Bonsai ArtFest is almost here. This is the first time this event has been held in the Americas. It will take place in Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico, from July 17-19, 2026.

 

What you'll find at the event:

• The finest bonsai and penjing in an artistic and creative presentation, in collaboration with other art forms such as art installations, painting, calligraphy, ceramic art, and more.

• Enjoy bonsai demonstrations by international masters, including penjing masters from China, Latin America, and India.

• The WORBAC Trophy will be awarded to the best creative composition of the Festival and will be selected by international judges.

• As in previous years, the public will vote for their favorite tree, and this year the winning tree will receive the Ryuga Trophy.
