

A Venezuelan by birth, trained in civil engineering design, Nacho Marín has extensively explored the world of visual arts through painting, sculpture, and photography. He decided to delve into the ancient art of bonsai, captivated by its intense magnetism.
His work began empirically, followed by further studies with Milagros Rauber, Pedro Morales, and Salvatore Liporace.
Known from the start for his clear and distinctive style, characterized by the dramatic use of deadwood and the phoenix-like quality his approach brings to the image, his meticulous attention to detail, and his unwavering commitment to native Latin American trees, have solidified his 24-year career in this art form.
He has participated as a teacher and guest judge at world congresses in Brazil, Puerto Rico, China, Taiwan, Malaysia, India, and the United States.
He has also participated as a guest teacher at national congresses in Spain, Mexico, Venezuela, Brazil, Ecuador, Israel, and Argentina.
He maintains ongoing schools in Venezuela, Colombia, Brazil, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, and the USA.
His participation in various international competitions has earned him approximately 70 awards.
Creator of the NACHO MARIN BONSAI SCHOOL International School and the table book 100 BONSAI.
